Join Us in Supporting the 2024 Project Homeless Connect
We are excited to announce that the 2024 Project Homeless Connect (PHC) is just around the corner! Scheduled for the third week of September, this event is dedicated to providing vital services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness in our community. We need your support to make this year’s event a success.
About Project Homeless Connect
PHC is a national model that began in San Francisco in 2004 and has since spread to over 200 cities across the United States. The goal of PHC is to create a one-stop shop where people experiencing homelessness can access a variety of essential services in one convenient location. This approach eliminates barriers and ensures immediate impact.
Services Offered
At PHC, participants can access a wide range of services such as:
- Medical care
- Mental health support
- Substance abuse treatment
- Housing assistance
- Dental care
- Social Security benefits
- Legal aid
- Free eyeglasses
- Identification services
- Food and clothing
- Wheelchair repair and more
Event Highlights
This year, our local PHC event will feature workshops designed to empower those experiencing homelessness to take steps towards securing stable housing. Additionally, there will be a service fair and a community carnival to create an uplifting and supportive environment for all attendees.
How You Can Help
We believe that community involvement is crucial to the success of PHC. We are reaching out to local businesses, organizations, and individuals to join us as supporters and sponsors for this important event. Your support will help cover essential costs and ensure that we can provide these critical services to as many people as possible. Anyone can support by donating, sponsoring, volunteering, or offering free housing or supportive services for PHC.
Sponsorship Benefits
By becoming a sponsor, you will receive recognition on our event materials and the event website. Additionally, sponsors will have the opportunity to receive mentions in our social media pages and receive a complimentary tee shirt.
